Yahoo! No A or E likes yet, but IT STARTS WITH A CIRCLE just earned a #sunwritefun AMA prize! Also this: "This is very well written. Your rhyme & meter are so strong. I love that it's a nonfiction piece written in rhyme. It combines the whimsy of poetry w/the knowledge building of nonfiction."

An honorable mention out of 586 entries, #writingcommunity? I'll take it! Can't wait for next year's #50preciouswords. As soon as I sent it, I saw areas to revise--oh well! Still ecstatic about the outcome & #grateful for an HM my 4th year in a row. #kidlit #STEM

One of the things I ❤️ about BlueSky is how much I learn about the 📚 industry. Going to take Dory's advice and just keep 📝, but also work for change-so I guess I'm channeling Princess Leia, too. 🙂

Had a productive #Caterday. Sent additional manuscripts requested by an agent, sent out fresh queries, and identified my author brand (I think). Now following Zuccy's lead and relaxing. #caterday #amquerying #writinglife

New year, new writing #writingcommunity, #12×12pb, revisting advice from @stephenking's On Writing. 6 hours of closing the door=1 crappy PB draft ready for revision. Yes, gasp! it rhymed, but that's how it wanted to be written. Hv already started revising it into prose. #ExcitedAboutThisProject
