What if there was a Halloween version of the elf on the shelf...I can't think of a rhyming name but a troll or a demon that peeks out from unexpected places and threatens you with hauntings and poltergeists and possible eternal damnation. I'd find that much more fun.

Today I've booked tickets to 3 exhibitions for the end of next month, and my inner nerd (fairly outer tbh) is in heaven...Secret Maps, Mudlarking and PIRATES. Plus a Writing From Rage workshop and an Open Mic (for details [email protected] ). I'll be intolerably excited by mid-November.

The Greens requested an interview on the Laura Kuenssberg Show with Zack Polanski when he was elected leader, but were denied, with a promise to interview him during Green conference instead.

This was then scrapped citing the Manchester synagogue attack. Polanski is both Jewish and from Manchester

Why would the supermarket think dog food is a reasonable alternative product to cat food? I have a cat. I don't have a dog. Neither I nor the cat is going to eat dog food (the cat is increasingly picky about which cat food he'll eat - he's forgotten his life on the mean streets already).
