Last season's top ten highest-scoring forwards in FPL have a combined 20 goals between them so far this year - of which 16 of those are Haaland and Mateta. 😳

Mmh, not sure myself. I think spreading the points, coupled with blunting a lot of the attacking assets, has just resulted in a squad of which I mostly loathe the sight. Have never struggled to find players that appeal more than this season.

Was looking at my team from last year. At one point, I had a team containing Isak, Mbeumo, Cunha, Eze, Aït Nouri, and Kerkez. Is there a single one of those who didn't move clubs and immediately become an FPL non-event this season? Maybe just Eze?

As a Mateta owner, I'd level the same charge there. Mateta has underperformed his data like crazy so far (2 goals from 4.2 xG). I'm holding for now because at 0.63 per 90, he's surely due.
