lol instead of celebrating with his teammates, Willy just skates off
Nylander starts on a new line and contributes to the game's opening goal

Everyone keeps saying that the West is so much stronger than the East this year, but I think it’s basically just Colorado and Dallas who don’t have an equal in the East. The West, meanwhile, has SIX teams who haven’t hit 30 points yet, and the East one. On balance, I don’t see much difference.

This article says Carney is attempting to pass a bill that’s over 600 pages that would give any federal minister sweeping power to exempt companies from any federal law. It’s the top story on Radio-Canada and the Bloc are livid. Where the hell is this on CBC?? ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/221...
Carney veut le pouvoir de contourner les lois fédérales
Bloquistes, néo-démocrates et conservateurs craignent des dérapages, tandis que les libéraux promettent une supervision réglementaire.

Yeah, Bobby, you can’t be doing that.

So uh, OEL has been really good? Guy is doing everything right now. Creating in the OZ, passing, shooting; defending the rush, cycle and net front; goading Tampa into penalties.

Fans at the Leafs game should be mercilessly booing the Leafs’ top power play unit.

Boycott TSN, RDS and all their advertisers
Sure looks like TSN/Bell Media is using AI to write summary stories attributed to ‘TSN Staff’

So we’re clear: Logan Cooley is not a previous Art Ross winner.

Just saw an ad for CBC Gem and you know, Canadian parents of young kids, if you haven’t checked that out, I would advise you to do so. We’ve been trying to cut down on subscriptions lately, and Gem has Peppa, Paw Patrol, + a bunch of others. I love paying taxes.

You know, I think Craig Simpson has come a long way as an analyst. I used to find him intolerable, always resorting to platitudes about momentum or character or heart, but he legitimately offers decent insight, these days. This HNIC duo is one of the best.

Short-handed breakaway slapper!!! Hell yeah Scott Laughton post and in.

Welp, Habs deserve to be up by a goal in this game. The xG looks a *little* better than the shots, but the Habs straight-up won that period.

On the subject of the Leafs’ power play, I can completely understand Easton Cowan’s snivelling deference and unwillingness to shoot, but boy, do I wish he would just rip it. Coach needs to tell him that.

The refs legitimately just promised Dobson a makeup call in that chat before he got in the box. And yeah, there it is.

Pretty good period from the Leafs. If they could hit the net it would have been better, but at the other end of the ice, you’ve got to be happy with Hildeby.

Made ossu bucco for dinner and have been listening to this terrific jazz record. It’s a good Saturday. Don’t screw this up, Leafs.

That was a pretty cool 10 minutes when the Leafs had a healthy goalie. Unfortunately, the very act of thinking about making saves is enough to cause serious injury.
a lot of extended left leg saves from Woll on Thursday

he’s out for a week
Woll didn't come out for the third

was shaking his left leg after this save

Leafs say he's day-to-day

Their brains worked less, but they felt just as engaged—a kind of metacognitive mirage.”🧪

Bahahah so glad I made a couple huge sheet pans of nachos and had our friends over instead of watching this dumb Leafs team. Berube should have already been fired.
