Gleipnir 2 background. A warm underground medieval hall, with a furnace, dark wood furniture, warm stone floors and walls, heavy red curtains, bookcases, a velvety lounge, low tables with playing cards and stairs to other comforts.

Gleipnir 2 background. At dawn, inside a musician's abode. A large tree grows through the house. There's bedding on a shelf, a small kitchen, and a table.

Gleipnir 2 background. A music instrument maker's workshop, at dusk, by a lake. The lake is visible through a large bay, which can be closed with a heavy curtain. Two immense chairs invite the traveller for a seat. Tools litter workspaces and the walls are busy with guitars, hurdy-gurdies, drums, flutes, and other instruments.

Gleipnir 2 background. The musician's house, from outside, by day. The tree is colossal. The house is up in its branches, build on stilts, and can be reached by a flight of rickety stairs. At the base of the tree, under its roots, a door to teh cellar.

here's the deal with Gleipnir: the first one was made with an amazing point & click engine called Visionaire studio. With absolutely no coding experience, I made and shipped a game in 2018 and it sits at almost 200 reviews, 92% positive. In 2023 I started making the sequel, using the same engine.

Fascinating work here tracing how the IDF recycled 3D assets from a cyberpunk sci-fi art project, the Scottish Maritime Museum and elsewhere to populate its widely-seen models of supposed enemy locations in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran. One of the most infamous, the alleged underground Hamas command center at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, used to justify an unprecedented assault on the biggest medical center in Gaza, was actually an animation the IDF had used the previous year, saying at the time it was a tunnel beneath a UN school.

The space elevator project was funded by the world's billionaires, who were offered exclusive luxury tickets on the first ride up into space.

After the launch, the project announced a second funding round, to start looking into the feasibility and advisability of installing a "down" button.
