A warm underground medieval hall, with a furnace, dark wood furniture, warm stone floors and walls, heavy red curtains, bookcases, a velvety lounge, low tables with playing cards and stairs to other comforts. Gleipnir 2 background. At dawn, inside a musician's abode. A large tree grows through the house. There's bedding on a shelf, a small kitchen, and a table. Gleipnir 2 background. A music instrument maker's workshop, at dusk, by a lake. The lake is visible through a large bay, which can be closed with a heavy curtain. Two immense chairs invite the traveller for a seat. here's the deal with Gleipnir: the first one was made with an amazing point & click engine called Visionaire studio. With absolutely no coding experience, I made and shipped a game in 2018 and it sits at almost 200 reviews, 92% positive. In 2023 I started making the sequel, using the same engine.

Models of parking lots, antennas, + pipes were repurposed as Hamas and Iranian military sites @evanhill · 11m Fascinating work here tracing how the IDF recycled 3D assets from a cyberpunk sci-fi art project, the Scottish Maritime Museum and elsewhere to populate its widely-seen models of supposed enemy locations in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran. lots of people know Łink from what he did to promote alt text usage here. this tip about pretending you’re describing an image over the phone has been burned in my brain since i saw it
bluesky post from @knilirabaj.bsky.social that says It's pretty cool you're using that alt text accessibility feature. It's not cool that you're not really describing the image though. Nice and simple is a good start. Descriptive and accurate is the way to go. You'll get the hang of it. Try pretending you're describing the picture over the phone.
