So many men go through life like that. You can play poker because it's right-coded, you can't enjoy fruity alcoholic drinks because they're women-coded, you can't lick an ice cream cone because it's gay-coded. All day, every day, choosing and judging things based on coding for narrow norms.

this definitely captures my own mixed feelings about LLMs
They are amazing at annotating, troubleshooting, and working with code (complete game changers for data cleaning, handling, and analysis pipelines).
The writing they do terrifies me as a scientific author.

I think that may be the core division here: if you are an author or an artist the cons of generative AI very likely outweigh the pros for you
