Hello Bluesky! 🦋 I'm Jo/e (Joe or Jo) and I am a writer, comic artist, and graphic novelist. My work revolves around characters as the plot drivers. I generally write mundane fantasy, and incorporate family as theme a lot. Excited to post more of my work and art!

Lacey, a small demon child, and her friend Presel sit down in the grass to learn spells 101. Presel asks Lacey what she has to study to be "cool". As that is Lacey's purpose for learning--not to be a good student. Lacey describes how she needs to cast fire spells, but only wants to cast pretty ones. She points to her book in the final panels. Presel takes a look and lets Lacey know that the prettiest spells are the hardest ones.
