Some Butch Kassidy from Swansea Fringe. I thought they had elements of early Verve, Bark Psychosis, Nico, Mogwai... but when I spoke with the guy at the end he didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

So, very enjoyable first night of Swansea Fringe. Butch Kassidy decent, but Ophelia's Beard 'Rage folk' off the charts in terms of live bands I've seen in recent years. Could genuinely be huge.

I can honestly say that Ophelia's Beard are the most exciting live band I've seen for many a year, tonight at Swansea Fringe. Could be huge.
Red Sea, the debut single by Ophelia's Beard, is out now via Dirty Carrot Records.
It is one hell of a debut!

While I know that it technically *is*, I still struggle to see Brie and Cranberry as a festive sandwich.

Trying to work out why Pluribus is beginning to wind me up so much. I think it's because we're watching someone with no need whatsoever to do any jobs doing loads of jobs.
