The platforms bled out too soon, the level design was all over the place, collecting the medals were not fun, the remixes were either “huh, neat” to bees tooting in the microphone and the game kept giving me the stupid Paint Roller minigame in order to progress.
It was rough…😖

From Episode 17 of Ask Mario (one of my favorites!), Slick Frame reads off a question for Luigi's availability. (while realizing Luigi's girlfriend is listening and the wrath that would incur) Luigi gets flustered, stammers a good deal while Daisy chimes in with the appropriate (if frighteningly wrathful) response to the asker's brazenness. Based on Sarah Sketches' comic of how Bowser interacts with others, be it Mario, Princess Peach, Luigi and/or Daisy. The comic is REALLY funny, even though the dialogue is a bit more vulgar, so I toned it down to be a bit more family friendly. (I had to throw in the Cataquack/Aristo-quack to censor the F-bomb Daisy drops, it was too good. XD) Last time I shared art for Nintendrawer/Monica, she mused if the art was more Spider-Man. Given our mutual enjoyment of the friendly neighborhood webslinger, I sketched out one of my fave moments from Spectacular Spider-Man - Mysterio's first appearance on the show, and Spider-Man's incredible quip towards the eccentric conjurer of illusions. I say it once and I'll say it again: I LOVE episode 18. So many incredible jokes come from that episode, and this was one of them: Luigi getting pushed by Bowser after the latter found out that Luigi intentionally swept under the Koopa King's legs in the Super Mario Strikers: Battle League intro movie. Luigi slowly summons the courage to give Bowser a piece of his mind and then getting horrified over what he just said, covering his mouth and panicking over what Bowser may do to the poor guy. (Thankfully, Bowser praises him for mustering up boldness and telling him off with a "lame insult".) Seriously, Nintendrawer COOKED with that wonderful expression. I can tell a lot of love was put into Luigi's myriads of emotes on Ask Mario.

Slick Frame, I couldn't decide on one or the other, so... uh, have both his iconic glove hair + beard and the fact that the guy is funny! Sam's very mellow, plus has a fun avatar! Nintendrawer is an impressive artist with a knack for well-timed humor. She's also very chill! Admittedly, I had to think of the right word for Tyler, it was either "varied," "flexible" or "impressive." I settled on the last one, because his repertoire is INCREDIBLY impressive. Jordan's giggles melt hearts and are refreshing to hear. I always appreciate Steve's kindness not just to me and the audience, but even to his friends, especially to Luigi when it seems like the odds are against him. He's the kind of friend you want to have in your group for sure! MB welcomes all the fans whether with art submissions or with rounding out the super-chats. She keeps a good environment on the streams. Moi is pal. 'Nuff said. Whether it's art, music, theater or games that pique his interests, you can tell that Jason is quite passionate to discuss/work on 'em! Celie is cool, creative, and I hope she joins future streams! Max is incredibly talented and funny, though it can't be a stream with Max without him screaming his head off. XD Snowsie is very chill and pleasant to listen to! Her VA work as Peach, Daisy and Rosalina are all top-notch! Joe is a fun dude. (And I can relate to his love for Bowser's Inside Story training him being Bowser, haha!) KZ has such an impressive art style! Kenkoy is sweet, and I hope she shows up to future streams! General Gruntin's puppetry and humor is a joy to behold. Sarah-Sketches has a great art style - she makes some especially nice Luigi-Daisy/Luaisy art!

Looks like everyone had a fun time playing Wario's World! EGG-SALAAAAD!!!

It was nice seeing everyone's art at the end as always - here are two pieces that ended up being shown in the fanart segment!
Whenever my buddy Mike and I described the chemistry between the Mario Bros., we note how Mario was the upbeat, adventurous positive guy with Luigi being the reluctant, timid brother. One time, when I tried to describe the scenario between them, I gave the Mario line here, while Mike joked: "In-a my lunchbox..." And the rest is history. I ADORE Ep. 17 of Ask Mario. Every minute of it. Slick Frame threatening Bowser (in amiibo form) with his car gave me a good laugh, especially when giving his intense, plotting smile while freaking Bowser out. As Slick pointed out, when I drew his threatening smile in my style, he ended up looking like The Grinch with his evil grin. XD It was either that, or him looking like a creepy porcelain doll. I'm glad I went Grinch-y with this.

Kyler dreams he is at work doing a presentation, only for his mother Valerie to show up and tell him it's time for bed, before putting duckie pyjamas on him, to the laughter of everyone in the room. Outside the dream, Booker comments, "There's a serious issue here, but it's too weird to put my finger on." Kyler dreams he is chased all over the place by a bull. Outside the dream, Booker says "Well that sure was a load of-" only to be grumpily cut off by Kyler telling him not to go there. Kyler dreams alligators are trying to break into the building. One of them is wearing a polo shirt, which confuses Kyler into not yelling any more. Outside the dream Booker explains he was "Trying to make the dream less scary." Kyler dreams he is a head in a jar. Booker tells him to manipulate the dream to his advantage, to which Kyler imagines his head on Booker's body. Outside the dream, Kyler looks a bit awkward and comments that it seemed like a good idea at the time. Booker is disturbed and says that he'd hate to see Kyler's bad ideas.

Based on the final Bowser fight in the Super Luigi Galaxy finale stream! Notification Mario cheers for Luigi as the real Mario is off at the laundromat, much to Luigi's dismay. Princess Peach is the moon and says "bruh" to Mario's negligence. XD

Well looking through #NintendoSwitch2025 ‘s review, I had to pick which one was my favorite. It was TOUGH. 😰

(With Super Mario Galaxy, most of the time was spent on the 3D All-Stars version)
With a lot of Green Star/Cosmic Jewel shenanigans and the overall content of Galaxy 2, I am not surprised that this ended up being the game I played the most! Second to that is me playing through the e-Reader levels of Super Mario Advance 4 (as well as some speedruns of the game) and the entirety of Super Mario Advance 1! I’m half surprised and not surprised that going through Case 1-5 of Ace Attorney ended up taking 30+ hours. Such a beefy case… 😅 This year, I completed Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, beating Magolor’s Epilogue, Extra Mode and both of the Arenas. This is my all-time favorite Kirby game, without any doubt - the original was already good, but the remake upped it! Believe it or not, this is my first time really playing Super Mario Galaxy - I saw friends play the game since it first came out on Wii, but I never had the opportunity to play it until 2025 through 3D All-Stars. I got to beat both this and its sequel, and a while both games have their strengths, I honestly prefer the adventure/narrative in Galaxy 1 over 2. It’s one of the few games in which I’ve completed the game 100% and wouldn’t mind going through it again!

Top to bottom: - Luigi has super slippery shoes in the game, almost like he coated the things in butter! In reality (or in my headcanon, at least), Luigi is a clean and tidy guy and buffs his shoes so much that he smooths out the treads on his soles! - The Steady Sweethearts plan their trip to Italy, Luigi suggesting either riding a gondola or a Vespa scooter around. Daisy is on board for doing both... not sure if she means both at the same time. XD

Left-to-right, top to bottom: - The little intro from Ask Mario Ep. 4, when Luigi cuts off Slick Frame's show intro and Slick Frame gets annoyed. Also, gets ego-wrecked by Bowser. Poor guy can't catch a break... - Slick Frame goes back to his (grossly underpaid) therapist, Jason, as he relates his confusion over Spider-Man's hunched pose as he peers over the cityscape or land from his web-slinging. - Maxwell, MB and Steve take flight whether they want to or not. - I dunno, whenever I hear Doopliss say that one line in The People Steeple trailer, I imagine Slick Frame going: "Okie doke!" and handing off a slice of pie. Let's just hope that Jason gets compensation for this nonsense. ^_^; - A dumb joke that I made when looking at the Eelevator family. Man, these guys are STRAAAANGE.

Polished up the original pic that was on stream tonight, but anywhoozle: From left to right, top to bottom: - Mario & Luigi's thoughts on Wario & Waluigi gave me a chuckle - this was from the Season 3 compilation assembly stream. - Some dork (who also sketched these) asked King Boo to say nice things to his co-hosts during the second Luigi's Mansion stream. His compliment to Luigi was well executed, haha! - Monica claims that before the Bros. came, The Mushroom Kingdom had an unsung hero... The Amazing Spider-Man! (Seriously, this bit from the latest stream got me good. X,D) Someone described DK's thinking pose in Ask Mario as "Free Form Jazz," so I decided to draw the meme with DK and Diddy. Maybe DK is trying to help Pauline with her confidence with public singing. XD Ep. 22 of Ask Mario is a gem - it's the episode I watched first, and it had some wonderful moments, such as Toadette getting flustered over Blue Toad/Buckenberry being in Super Mario Wonder. (Jordan KILLED it with that delivery, I love it. XD) I spent WAAAAY too much time making Toadette as Rosie the Riveter here. (and this is why I draw hands as mittens)
