It is 20 years since Hurricane Katrina and I am thinking about New Orleans today. Here are a couple of Panic of 1837 shinplasters issued by Municipality No. One that featured views of city and street scenes. The first shows the St. Louis Cathedral and the second has a view of the St. Louis Hotel. 🗃️
