Finishing video games is overrated. They’re almost all way too long.

Does anyone at @bsky.app plan on fixing video playback on iOS? It keeps getting stuck in full screen mode.

Can we plz stop with YouTube thumbnails that contain fabricated social media posts? They work because they’re engaging, but they’re also lies. @t3.gg

It’s been a few months and I have a new update on SS1 disk reading. We ended up improving disk reading to be on par with loading from an SD in almost all CD-cores.

All CD cores except PS1 = indistinguishable from SD.

PS1 = edge cases where a game can be <1% slower.
Doing some testing of SS1 reading PS1 data directly from a disk without dumping the data first. It’s much better than I expected.

That being said, copying games to the SD or SSD is still the optimal strategy for performance. It’s a one-time process and better for random access.

Riding BART on Saturday?

We will have long trains.
Parking is free.

You can now pay for BART by tapping your contactless credit/debit card or using Apple Pay or Google Pay at the fare gates.

No set up and no need to use a machine. Just Tap and Ride.

I’m legit concerned they’re going to release smallpox either in an attempt to disprove germ theory, or due to stupidity.
The Trump admin is in the midst of laying off 1,100-1,200 HHS staff. The CDC's outbreak responders, gone. The office producing CDC's weekly journal MMWR is gone. CDC staff securing sensitive data, gone. Worker safety, gone. Immunization group, gone.

Instead, Congress watches RFK "make the proof"
RFK Jr on Tylenol and autism: "It is not proof. We're doing the studies to make the proof."

The debate over the rights of citizens vs. non-citizens entirely misses the point when you look at the actual text of the Constitution and its later amendments. The Founding Fathers already answered this question, and did so in a way that should have spared us all of this wrangling and argument.
