The model of NO in neurovascular coupling by Dormanns and colleagues offers a valuable lens into how timing, cellular sources, and feedback loops shape flow responses. Although it isn't a mirror of in vivo reality this seems a strong base for hypothesis-building in hippocampal NVC.

Time to recap one of our recent publications!

Here we reviewed evidence linking dietary nitrate supplementation, cognition, and neurovascular health.

Curious to hear your thoughts on nutraceuticals, cognition, and cerebral NO signaling 😊
Dietary nitrate supplementation and cognitive health: the nitric oxide-dependent neurovascular coupling hypothesis
Diet is currently recognized as a major modifiable agent of human health. In particular, dietary nitrate has been increasingly explored as a strategy to modulate different physiological mechanisms wit...

Hi everyone!

I currently work on nitric oxide-dependent neurovascular coupling and cognition.
Would also love to explore intersections between Neuroscience and computational methods!

If you're into #neurovascular research, #cognition, #Redox biology, or #computational Neuroscience, let's chat!
