There we go! 17 May is Norway's national day, so I threw this piece together sometime last year before hopping over to Bluesky. iirc, I was inspired by a news story involving immigrants customizing their bunads to reflect their country of origin, so Viola is wearing a mix based on that there.

17th of May celebration. Three characters are dressed in celebratory national costumes. Marthe (the gray haired girl on the left) is dressed in a heavily customized bunad dripping with game and anime references (Pokemon, Zelda, Dragon Ball, Hunter X Hunter, Xenoblade 3 and Sonic among them). So much so that traditionalists would seethe with rage at the very sight of it. She looks excited at Viola's costume. Gaill (blue spiky-haired boy in the center) is wearing a fairly basic suit (I don't care for male bunads, sue me) with a flag ribbon on it. He looks bewildered at Marthe's bunad. Viola (violet haired girl on the right with more controlled hair than usual) is wearing an experimental hispanic hybrid bunad. She is also expressing confusion at Marthe's choice in clothing.

It probably would’ve needed some more reworking and balancing, especially considering how all the moves where overhauled, but I deeply missed Abilities being a thing in Legends ZA. Pokemon feel less individualistic without them.

I’m still going to go as far with 100% completion as I feel like, but right now, I feel inspired. Funnily enough, Legends ZA hit on a lot of similar things to what I want to do with my comic. I’m gonna be sure to not take TOO much inspiration, but it sure showed me how to handle certain elements.

I truly loved this game. It’s writing felt surprisingly mature for the series. Not that kids can’t play it, but I felt that more recent previous games have had this juvenile softness to the dialogue, scenes and characters that made me disconnect. Not this time though.

I’m afraid Legends ZA left a Lumiose shaped hole in my heart now that I’m done with the main story and moving to the post game, as I realize all these amazing characters are now going to be frozen in NPC stasis until the next game they appear in or something… *sigh*

Okay, the finale of Legends ZA might be the best finale a Pokemon game has ever had, at least not since Black & White. Turns out y’gotta either drop the Pokemon League or make the League itself into the climax of the whole darn plot to make a Pokemon story good.

Here's how you remove Google AI from your mobile devices.

Instead of being in settings its in the google app. Also, google, not chrome. Icon is a G, not the circle thing. Click on your pfp to open a menu

From there, go Settings > Gemini > Digital Assistants > Switch to Google Assistant. This disables Gemini, google's Al assistant, and switches you back to the old one. We aren't done yet.

Go back to Settings. From there, we go Settings > Google Assistant > scroll to find General > Google Assitant on/off > turn it off

They really tried their best to make it a pain, but you can eventually disable it. Holding the power button on your phone still pulls up a menu and asks you to turn it back on, but this is the least intrusive you can make it.

Applies to all non-apple phones afaik. For sure Samsungs and Pixels but idrk about others

I'm just unreasonably happy to see that section from the new MHA episode finally animated. I don't care what the internet says. MHA's final arc is one of its best, and there's still more to come.

Gotta say, I am loving the writing in Legends ZA. The characters have made me laugh far more than most other Pokemon games have in the past, and I like how they subvert stuff. The way it's supposed to be done I mean, show us one thing, give us something else we end up liking even more.

I guess it was a bit redundant. The way it works now is more akin to how the Cyndaquil line and their fire animations work (or used to work before Gen 9, I can't remember if they changed it or not). It'd be weird to have that treated like a seperate form for them as well.

It's not going to happen, it just isn't a thing anime does, but it would be REALLY cool if the final Demon Slayer movie did the final battle on a real time scale. Like, from the moment they set that time limit, it adheres to it. I'm a sucker for stupid tricks like that...
