Did you seek it out or just happen into it?

I'll be bribing the management at Disneyland to restore the Peoplemover and generally fix Tomorrowland and the rest of the park.

lets say a wizard has cursed you with a lot of money. you are going to become permanently brain damaged simply by being in possession of so much money. the only way out of it is to spend a lot of money on something ridiculous and not at all useful

what would you buy to break the curse?

This is from the era in which Honda was also selling CNG powered Civics and was just generally a more interesting company that loved to flex their engineering muscle.

Wow, how long has it been since I've seen one of these? The VX is a fairly obscure trim of the Civic designed for maximum fuel efficiency. It was extra light weight, had skinny, low rolling resistance tires, and a special "lean burn" version of VTEC (VTEC-E) to get 48 mpg city, 55 mpg highway.

I watched Moonraker (1979) for the first time in a long time this evening and wow, that is NOT a good movie. The Drax space station set is pretty cool, though.

I think I’m going to need to see some numerical analysis of this claim.

Thing is, based on pre-opening expectations, it was supposed to make the entire GNP of every nation on Earth and it did not.

Don't forget to spend your FSA money. Lots of things that you can purchase using those funds will be of great use and interest to places like homeless shelters, domestic violence organizations, mutual aid groups & more.

Consider buying menstrual products for one thing.

Over time, due to accidental circumstances, I’ve come to know a number of people who have done amazing things and have, shall we say, significant Wikipedia entries. I think it’s normal to idolize people like that when you’re young and also to realize that they’re just people when you’re older.

Let’s talk about the sailing submarine. In 1921, the US Navy’s R-14 lost propulsion and comm when its fuel became contaminated about 140 nm SE of Hawaii. The crew jury rigged sails from hammocks, blankets, and bed frames. They were able to make about 2 kt and arrived at Hilo about 2.5 days later.
