This woman was Prime Minister barely three years ago.
I feel compelled to write a review thread 🧵 for The Liz Truss Show because in the madness of the content, other aspects - vital aspects - are being missed.

1. The Aesthetics

Unless they were aiming for "Harley Street urologist waiting room circa 1992" this interview area is just unacceptable. 1/

That's a perfectly cromulent fess.
There's an episode in Blackadder 3 where Edmond uses made-up words to convince Samual Johnson that he's missed stuff from his dictionary. I have been using these same words in work meetings and reports for decades without ever being challenged on their authenticity.

Is it temporally possible to watch Lord of The Rings films six times in one lifetime?
The ‘hard mode’ examples. Fucking hell.

Sorry, I forgot, everyone is twelve now.

BBC New Comedy Awards has regional heats and a national final. The crowds are different. It's not a problem that the heat winners do literally the same routine, word for word, in the final.

Well, except for the fact the heats and final were both shown, in consecutive weeks, on national TV.

To recap my understanding:

AEW is running Cardiff six days from now.

It's not sold out.

It's theoretically possible there'll be 2-3 Continental Classic matches with top stars/great workers having potentially excellent matches.

There's no word yet on what CC matches are on the show, if any.

The FA Cup 3rd round draw is on TNT Sports. Surely it should be a listed event like the cup final itself.

I realise Facebook is not designed for the benefit of its "users", but is there any way you can set it/override it so that you see posts people have written themselves, but not pages/posts they have shared?

Play it again, Samwell Tarly
Netflix, which rarely carries a single movie from before 1980, wants you to know how thrilled they are to acquire that classic piece of franchise IP, Casablanca

That sound you just heard is wrestling promoters rescheduling next summer's events now the England games are out.

In the 80s scanning under hedges for porn mags was known as privet browsing mode.

One week later this is still the case, implying a deliberate change.
One of the few ways I still use X is a weekly search for my town and it appears the search has either been intentionally ruined or has spectacularly broken. The "latest" tab on the results now includes incredibly fuzzy matches ("Haneum" for "Hanham") and is not in chronological order.

Below The Belt just added to Amazon Prime UK. It's not, as I thought, the same as California Dolls/All The Marbles (which ends with what's effectively a **** match in movie form), but does include some WWWF footage and a guest role for Mildred Burke.

Interesting WON HOF stat from Peter Edge: Spyros Arion is the second inductee to be born outside of the USA, Mexico, Canada, Japan or the UK, with Konnan being the first in 2009.https://www.socialsuplex.com/retro-11/

This sequence of events concluded when I ragequit because my browser (not the web page) was showing a pop-up window suggesting I install Google Chrome.

My browser *IS* Google Chrome.
Posted on this on Reddit. Tried to find the post to copy the text to a Google forum. It won't let me view my own profile without verifying my age.

Then went to the official Google support forum. It wants me to create a user account despite the fact I AM LOGGED IN TO GOOGLE.
My Google smart speaker has been updated. Ask it what time my local library shuts and it no longer uses web search results to give you the (correct) answer. Instead it uses the Google AI Overview results to give you a made-up answer which is wrong.

This is apparently progress.

Bullseye revival was a viable idea for a one off but I'm not sure about it as an ongoing series. It would be a bit like if Peter Kay took his successful routine and just repeated it over and over.

I honestly thought the World Cup draw couldn't get any more over-complicated and drawn out, but god bless, they did it.

I have just seen a jumper in Marks & Spencer for £100. I think this is the first time I've really accepted we're getting a Reform government at the next election.
