I wonder if other writers experience a dip in ability to regulate emotions when they're deep into a novel, especially with deep interiority re the viewpoint characters. I find my mental state changes quite a bit and the only good thing is from experience I know this is just what happens to me.

This time I changed how I draw the line art a bit. Specifically, I tried to “draw without overlapping lines as much as possible.” How should I put it... I wanted to draw while valuing the lines more, so I gave it a shot. I can feel the results.

Kill the artist in your mind that gets so anxious about “ not having a consistent style.” I try to draw so many wildly different subjects in as many different ways as I can, and I think being able to grasp at variety is only a benefit to your craft, especially going forward.
