Your users hate crashes.

Obvious, sure. But actually doing something about them? That part gets skipped more often than you’d think.

Consider this your friendly PSA: crash reporting is still just as important in 2025.

Here’s why →
Do you need Crash Reporting in 2025?
In short: yes! Crash reporting helps dev teams ship smoother apps and games by catching issues early, fixing faster, and launching with confidence.

I love this one - Bluetooth is a temporary project code name that stuck.

It was the nickname of a medieval king who united Scandinavia who was famous for his dead blue tooth.

I talked about it in my post about how to easily continually find new music you dig (joeyplunkett.ghost.io/find-new-mus...), but I love December because so many music outlets year-end lists of best tracks, albums, and I artists drop.

Why does it always seem like podcasters use different/worse mics for the ad reads?

Voices are buttery smooth for the pod then as soon as they start talking about Better Help it’s recorded via tin can.

I often times get to shows kinda late, so checking the shows subreddit is full of landmines/spoilers.

I do still want to be able to see the discussion up to the point of the episode I just watched.

Here's how I fix that problem with a simple google search.

It's an interesting list with some useful stuff on it. Disappointed not to see a shoutout for my new favorite travel app, Flighty (flighty.com). Hard to explain how nice it is until you use it for a few flights. Having all that info in one easy-to-access and well-designed space is awesome.

I’ve fought silly spelling and gramatical errors my whole life. Proofing is hard!

But now I see an error and think: ‘Hey! A human wrote that, not AI. Good for them!’

Errors are hardly a new hidden strength. Finding ways to lean into your style is tho.

I use Todoist to keep track of all of my To Do's for both professional and personal, and it works amazingly well for that. I'll do a write-up about my own flavor of the Getting Things Done (todoist.com/productivity...) philosophy I've built inside of that app to keep things moving and organized.

I just follow this video's instructions (www.youtube.com/shorts/az_vC...) to set my phone to grey mode w/ lower brightness past 8pm to help reduce evening screen time.

Also used the same automation to make my iOS Kindle app always black and white to imitate my physical Kindle device look and feel.
