It's December 14th, 2027 and it's been over a year since Trump complete his deportation of immigrants and implemented his 25% tariff on Mexico and Canada. I'm heading south of the border to try and smuggle out vegetables, because prices have tripled in the US. I'm a cauliflower mule.

I love Blue Sky. I follow only people who are aligned with my beliefs or have credible news that I want to know. It is all so depressing currently and I have to limit my exposure to this information for my sanity. Nothing is good news. I served for this? Shit.

Just watched a short documentary of the reign of Caligula in Rome. Amazing resemblance to the current president of the United States. I mean, the details vary by very little. On an unrelated note, whatever happened to the Roman Empire?

A retired Russian music professor had a passion for the group Chicago and started a cover band. Imagine how wonderful they would be if Putin hadn't ruined it. The band included a Ukrainian (singer/guitar), but no longer. Also, the lead guitar and singer has moved on.

If you shoot through your door at a suspected intruder, you should go to jail for the crime that was committed. Murder, in this case. Know your target. Be sure. If you are in a combat zone, rules may be different. This wasn't. Tragedy.

We could easily do this in Arizona. Instead, the power company has capped reimbursement for solar production from homeowners and made it less appealing to spend the money on making your own electricity. Also, they want us to pay for the cost of bringing in data centers?

It's not in this article but the government asserts that the sandwich was thrown at "point blank range", which implies subway sandwiches have defined effective weapon ranges of varying lethality, and I would like to see the government's chart of these ranges.

Worked the polls today for early voting. All of the poll workers were nice, polite, and seemed like decent folks. Interestingly, I don't know who are Dems or Repubs (except one). We'll probably know tomorrow because some tasks require a bipartisan presence to complete. No rabid MAGA that I can see.

We live in a town about 15 miles outside of Phoenix in a red district. Our protest had about 250 people show up. Even though it's a Saturday, a lot of people are working. Lots of support from vehicles driving by, with only a handful of MAGA cars yelling at us. Makes me hopeful.

At the No Kings protest yesterday, a guy in a pickup truck yelled out his window "Fuck you!" A women next to me yelled back "I love you, too!" The guy looked confused and pissed because he thought he was misunderstood. Haha!
