hey hey hey I have a short story collection coming out soon. I'd love to do more interviews and get copies out to reviewers. I’ll also be at AWP and have one reading lined up but open to more... 10 years ago did a reading of an apatosauruses story that made someone cry, if that helps.

Gentle reminder for anyone still building awards consideration & reading lists for awards, reviews, retrospectives or general books to read + enjoy,

that both FEAST OF THE PALE LEVIATHAN as a first-time horror novel and BOXCUTTERS as a short story collection would cherish your support 🍻
I may be tired and overwhelmed by life (and trying to get my hot water turned back on sometime this week) but FEAST comes out tomorrow and I am proud of it and of Two Book Year & I appreciate everyone who has engaged with these brain holes I’ve been privately digging for five years now 🙏🍻🤘

After 8 years of working from home and trying to parent on all the random days the girls are home, today has been different. They've finished homework and played outside and drawn many things all on their own. It's a new bliss to just be doing our own things, calmly, in the same time and place.

On January 24th, my parents home burned down. They and my disabled brother escaped with only minor burns but they lost everything they've ever had.

I'm running a GoFundMe to help them recover and rebuild. I would be deeply grateful for any donations but also for any shares!

Just now passed 11k words in a new story that will eventually probably need to be 6k, tops? Turns out trying to convey a life, a reincarnation, and a second life in one short story gets kinda long-winded, oof.

I recently gave @astrolabe.ooo a visual overhaul I'm pretty proud of. I wanted to take nothing away from the universe viz but make it more grounded and better match the aesthetics of everything we've published over the last 3(!) years. And hopefully show we're in it for the long haul.
