The real challenge for tech bros is striking the fine balance between completely destroying humanity and retaining enough of it that their billions are still worth something.

Just west of Fort Qu’Appelle in Saskatchewan, the Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation is working across the US border to revive centuries-old trade routes as part of a new Indigenous-governed trade corridor.

From our friends at @nationalobserver.com:

This is a huge story but massively under the radar in the UK.

A US Christian legal org called the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is working to roll back abortion rights here using the same playbook it used in the US: briefing politicians, watching, waiting.

The most dangerous form of government is theocracy.

The people who want violent protests to happen are Trump, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Pete Hegseth, Tom Homan, and other senior appointees in his admin. They are doing everything they possibly can to provoke people to violence and it is obvious that is what they hope for daily.

It's wild that we've reached a point where the President openly admits to firing people for political reasons, and his OMB director tweets about it like it's a victory. This is page one of the authoritarian playbook, happening in plain sight.

I recently sat down with three leaders who are part of the @obamafoundation.bsky.social's alumni network to hear more about their work to strengthen democracy in Hungary and Poland. They’re an example for us all. Take a look:

I’m never not going to reshare a national news story about SterlingFest, the annual celebration of the writer and tv creator, held in his hometown in Broome Co, NY, of which he said:

“Everybody has to have a hometown, Binghamton’s mine.”

Canadians could be facing a “perfect storm” in mental health challenges due to insufficient supports and a trend of growing economic stressors—which will need to be addressed through greater federal funding.

“Fraser said it would be "unimaginable" for a federal government to steer clear of a case affecting Charter rights that will have lasting impacts and suggested the premiers' argument is "untenable."”

Hard agree.
