Has anyone successfully taught diverse statistical paradigms within a single course (Bayesian, frequentist, etc.)?

Typically, students need to encounter them one-a-time. Is it too demanding to mix and match approaches in one course? #stats #Bayesian

1/2 A special #FluorescenceFriday for me! 🌈
Live muscle precursors on a pupal fly testis (Lifeact-eGFP, 🔥-depth-coded).

It's special because this is on the poster for the @sfb1348.bsky.social Meeting in May — my first time being featured as a speaker on a poster! 😀

Feeling very grateful & excited!

Excited to share our team’s work on improving FLIM metabolic imaging. NC-PCA selectively removes shot noise without filters or training. The result? Clearer phasors, higher accuracy, & better biological insights.

Redesign of Calmodulin for Genetically Encoded Zn2+ Sensing with High Dynamic Range
The development of genetically encoded Zn2+ probes (GEZPs) has been hindered by the limited signal transduction efficiency of natural zinc-binding domains, but the encoded Ca2+ indicators utilize the ...
