Haskell, where the programmer, not just the whitespace, is significant.
Huh, Haskell has significant whitespace.

Also, apparently I'm learning Haskell.

Monday in Ottawa!

Hello from Ottawa

I saw a video of someone explaining how Spotify is “listening age” works. And they made a plot where the X-axis was year and the left-most year was 1990. Everything left of that was labeled “way way back”.

Just put me in the ground now.

After a rough 6 weeks, I needed this.

I already have my float rating, so I’m just working on better confined area techniques and other “real world” concerns… like beaching!

“lazy use of unwrap blew up a process and took out the internet” bzzt. wrong. judicious use of unwrap blew up a process instead of allowing an Extremely Named CVE to happen and spraying your bank account credentials all over the public internet
People want a technical solution to what is ultimately a judgement problem.

People know that unwrap can cause a panic. That's the choice that's being made when you unwrap. Changing the name won't change that.

Trying to get my swans consistent. These are the three from this week. They’re OK! Smooth neck still alludes me.

Hispanic heritage month started last week in the US, but Latin American Heritage Month does not being until October in Canada.

I propose that we call these two weeks Puerto Rican Status Fortnight, and never speak of it again.

My friends are making me take my latte shots to the next level. No longer acceptable to just show the art. It has to be frame and color graded

My lattes were nice today. Rosettas can still use some work, it looks like a fern. But my slowsetta was pretty good!

The correct curveball to throw someone who believes this is “what about Puerto Ricans?”
it’s kind of annoying how complaining about transplants has become the new hipster xenophobia

The thing with getting anywhere in Canada is that you get on the _one road_ for most of the trip.
