32k+ word count reached. Had to backpedal a bit to add a necessary scene, and need to add two or three more too, and then can reconnect with what I drafted before. Doing work. 💪

I am really impressed by how alive the text is in the book I'm currently, slowly reading. It's not a style like my own at all, but I find it invaluable to experience nonetheless. So interesting that my obsession with my own wip dragged back along with it my reading habit. Books are good.

How much I long to get to editing. But I've got to finish this rewrite draft first. 31k, baby. In four weeks. At this rate I will have it done, DONE, by just after new year's. And then next year is the year I make it readable. 🫡

My book has two, effectively, one for the protagonist and one for the deuteragonist.
But I can't do more than one gif per post, so...D-'s fursona would be...something that is mean, persistent, yet oddly likeable (and then maims you when you get close enough)...

I love my used m4 iPad, but I don’t love apple’s ipad OS. I still have the annoying bug where bluetoothing a mouse to it causes my home screens to become hard to flip between. Argh. What has Apple been doing over the past year? Why isn’t this bug fixed? 🙂↔️

I’m sorry. OCD is working really hard to derail me. Just sharing for accountability. I get so stuck in obstructive thoughts and actions. Brain freezes me in a cycle of reorganization. Frustrating as hell. I’ll be fine. Drafting the WIP in the morning.

Mother in law still despises Zelensky. Still spends all her waking hours baking food and making camo nets for her people at the front. It’s not about one man. Men are imperfect, often vile beasts. It’s about a cause. Being the rock that breaks the imperials in their corner of the world for good.

I think I spiraled a bit. Gave in to ocd symptoms. Stupid urge to organize. Harms me in multiple ways. Should have recognized it and channeled it to my wip. Writing is immensely healthy for me in that way - where better to focus all my energy toward organizing than creating words? Won’t let ocd win.

Sav is quite comfortable with physical touch - when greeting or messing around with friends, sometimes while flirting, with family, whatever. In fact it’s a signal to her when mom starts to avoid hugs and affection that something is off.
