Its my #birthday today! So I decided to treat myself with a present and draw the signature weapon from one of my favorite PC's ever: Goldcicle, the primary weapon of "Cold-Blooded" Kalda Ishard, P.I.

"Cold-Blooded" Kalda Ishard is a Glacierborn (Ice Genasi), a private investigator, and in the campaign he came from, he's a prolific Fighter. While he amassed a grand total of thirteen different weapons across the campaign (of which I want to eventually draw all of them), the lance was his primary weapon of choice. Serving as master gunner for the Coin Chasers under Captain Haargoth Hammerstorm, the illustrious Golden Tongue, he would eventually create Goldcicle during his journey with her and other allies. Taking the staff of a pirate lord, the dreaded Gold-Plated Gilder, Kalda converted the shaft into what would hold the lance together. Its a special lance that aids his persuasion skills, allows him to interrogate criminals more efficiently, and channels his powers of the cold during combat. It also effective at making Kalda shut up when his dearest captain gets him flustered and he starts rambling about nonsense. Though he'd never admit that if you press him on it. Its a turquoise tinted metal lance, with gold accents along the base of the lance, parts of the handle, and the remnants of the staff it was made from near the bottom. It looks extremely cold to the touch. All in all, this has been one of my favorite weapons to work on for my special icy boy, and I can't wait to make the rest of his arsenal. Also, this is testing the idea of a name title splash card in the corner to better identify the weapon for a viewer, hoping to tweak that on future projects and update older ones with it. Could be fun. Fun fact: There's another version of this weapon that another version of Kalda wields. But that... well, you'll see in time. ;-)

I love all of Terry Pratchett's #Discworld books, but my favourite of the series is probably 'Lords and Ladies'.

It has such a good story, great character moments and some of his best jokes, including my personal favourite Schroedinger's cat joke (which is even better in context)

Briar Rose's Sewing Needle A small, steel sewing needle thats stained with blood, of which the user refuses to clean. Small bits of linen have been wrapped around the eye of the needle to act as a grip for the weapon. Don't let it's crude impracticality fool you! Briar Rose, the Fairy Wildfire Druid that wields this little Stinger, can, and has, gouged enemies eyes out with this thing!

The Lash of the House of V A signature weapon of a Werecat Tabaxi Blood Hunter, Cicero Valentine. Its adorned with spiked chains and a deadly "Cat Claw" at the end, which is used to hook into a target and pull them towards the user. As a blood hunter, it's also used to draw upon the user's hemocraft abilities. The whip has supposedly been handed down from generations of previous users, and is even marked with the family's symbol: A metal insignia of a cat at the tip of the handle. Its history, however, is obscured. More over, it's current user has no interest in seeking out that lineage. Rather, he's using it purely as a means to an end... even if he does enjoy the destruction its capable of producing.

A weapon I made for my wife's PC, a Path of the Soul Bond Barbarian, this ultra-greatsword is a weapon that only a warrior like Cinnamon, the "Red Angel", could wield effectively!

She calls it her "B.F.Y. Sword", hilariously.

The B.F.Y. Sword, named by her owner, is a blade of immense power, but at the cost of its barbaric size. Coming in at 194lbs, and nearly 6 and a half feet long, this massive blade is only capable of being wielded by warriors with a base strength score of 18. Cinnamon, the Faeladh from Veralden, is one of the few barbarians on this world capable of using such a massive weapon. She lovingly calls it her B.F.Y. sword (or, less delicately, her Big F!ck You sword.) And any opponent who has faced her and lived goes on tell tales of a large, muscle bound wolf woman with a sword nearly as large as her over her shoulder. Fun fact: Can you believe my wife has never seen Berserk?

I'm finishing the chain whip design Im working on for my Tabaxi Blood Hunter, Cicero Valentine. The handle is already done, it's just getting the chain whip itself done.

And I'm slowly realizing that I hate drawing chains.
