Hi new followers, I’m a cartoonist based in Vancouver, BC. Drawn comics small-press and pro, spent time in animation and taught comic fundamentals, too. Mostly drawing stories of a satirical nature or true to life these days. Also an easy mark for almost any footage of baby elephants. Welcome!
Convention goers will often bring comic items to the table even I dont have. This was our tribute to the king of sound effects, MAD artist Don Martin. I insisted on hand lettering and inking this one. Writing by Ian Boothby, who got it all correct.

I like that Hibbert.

In honour of Boris Karloff on his birthday. Scratchboard piece created @ 2011 from a scene in "The Body Snatcher" (1945). My favourite performance from the "uncanny" one.

The most striking element I saw in the film, among many moments of next level art direction. I've been waiting weeks to learn if this actually had a real-world precedent, and sure enough, it does.

I'm excited about the new OGN I'm currently writing. The art will be somewhat different than FULL TILT, which is making me even more excited about this new project! Looking to stretch my drawing chops a bit.

Drew this in summer of 2023 to support efforts to stop the proposed condo development from being dropped on the Memorial Monument square in Chinatown (residents did a public vote against-- hence the red cards). Back speaking at City Hall today. See 105keefer.ca for more.

Final passages of Sigfried Sassoon's “Repression of War Experience”, which I adapted for the 'Above The Dreamless Dead' anthology. The guns are still firing, whether we choose to look or not.
In honour of the fallen everywhere, uniform or not, and regardless of place or face.

Today’s commission: This was a fun one. After seeing some art I made for a pal, Joe Bob Brigg’s producer contacted me about creating a piece featuring the famed late night “Drive In” host in the style of a MAD cover for their offices. Watercolour and speedball pen. Apologies to Davis.
