One of the most fun things about produing Jazz Lines is discovering new (or new to me) music to share. I got tipped off about this album today. I’ll definitely be playing songs from this on an upcoming episode. And - teaser - maybe a special guest or two!

I’m at my audiologist waiting for my appointment. They’re playing AC/DC - you shook me all night long - in the lobby. I think they’re trying to boost business by damaging my hearing.

I’ve been driving grandchildren around, and the most requested song recently is Let It Go. I’m so happy a generation is going to grow up with the word “fractal” firmly embedded in their vocabulary.

Still working my way through the back catalogue of Strong Songs podcast by @kirkhamilton.com (I came to it very late, and I’m glad I found it). The episode on Tom Sawyer by Rush was awesome on its own, but the discussion on Neil Peart and Buddy Rich could have been an episode on its own. Thanks!

I very belatedly discovered the Strong Songs podcast by @kirkhamilton.com and I’m loving working my way through the episodes! Just listened to Moanin / Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. Can’t wait to go listen for the bass solo spilling over into the piano lead. Keep the jazz songs on your mix!
