You’re good. I figured it out pretty quick. Haha

Damnit you scared me for a second thinking you were saying Marc was no longer with us.

That was uncredited? Weird. It’s not like no one knew who he was and it was a pretty huge role in the film.

I feel like I know how the Amish must have felt when they started doing that whole thing. Like there’s finally a technological line in the sand that I have zero interest in crossing and the world is probably all gonna do it anyway without me.

“Was the left wrong to leave twitter”?

It used to be that it was hard to imagine George Orwell type stuff happening in America but seems pretty realistic at this point. (Obviously America has done some awful stuff but the gaslighting and twisting of reality is really next level)

Unfortunately a not insignificant number of news agencies or at least owners of news agencies are actively perpetrating the lies and invested in the deception.

There is no real rule of law when republicans control everything, refuse to enforce laws and Trump just pardons anyone who gets convicted.

Something no one seems to consider when they talk about violence in Chicago (which is NOT a war zone by any stretch) is that Indiana is night next to Chicago with lax gun laws.

Totally. I honestly think that Hillary investigation announcement was just a bad decision that seemed like the right thing to do in the moment for him. Stupid but not a calculated move to help Trump. Obviously the email server was a nothing burger.

[comey] stupid autocorrect.
jimcampbellart.bsky.social
If coney weaponized anything it was literally to help Trump win by announcing Hillary was being investigated.

Even if they could argue he didn’t have legal status, being in the country without proper legal paperwork is only a misdemeanor. Before Trump came along you could only get fines or deportation. But they’re punishing these people like dangerous criminals without even a trial.

We gen x don’t want him either. We fucking hate sellouts and fake people. I Seriously think the only reason he still has any relevance at all is his association with Trump and Fox News crowd and he’s clinging to that for dear life.

Maybe I’ve just extracted myself from the parts of the internet where algorithms prop up that garbage. Which is a good thing

I always felt bad for Matt Furie being ripped of by rightwing trolls. But now that I think of it, it’s been a long time since I saw a Pepe meme. Love the Portland frogs.

it's a friggin' "AI cartoon". Post something by an actual artist.

And I’m introducing a note into my notes app that honors myself with the WWF championship belt.

Vile, Wrecked & Rotten has been announced! I wrote this musical graphic novel with Steve Burns, aka “Steve from Blue’s Clues,” aka one of my best friends, and it’s being illustrated by my dude @jimcampbellart.bsky.social, whose work you might know from an obscure tv show called Over the Garden Wall.
Rob Valois at Penguin Workshop has acquired, at auction, world rights to Vile, Wrecked, & Rotten, a musical middle grade graphic novel about the misadventures of Joanie Rotten, the 11-year-old protégé of two kid-phobic composers who ply their trade in the music-loving metropolis of San Orchestropolis, by Gabe Soria (I.) (The Midnight Arcade); Steve Burns (c.), host of Alive with Steve Burns and star of Blue's Clues; and Jim Campbell (r.), Eisner Award-winning artist of Over the Garden Wall. Publication is set for summer 2027; Charlie Olsen at InkWell Management represented Soria and Campbell, and Chad Kojouri at Range Media Partners represented Burns.

I could understand if he was just moody or had a hard time processing information, but his support of the current fascism seems more deeply rooted. He’s like these comedians who turn hard right rather than admit they were ever wrong when someone calls them out on their shit.

I just saw an interview with him. His medical issues are not hindering him. He’s clear headed. He’s just a complete idiot.

I had problems with the old Republican Party but even that no longer exists. It’s the Trump party now. They have no interest in law or morality other than protecting Trump, his money, and whatever weird whims and vendettas he has .
jimcampbellart.bsky.social
Of course he's a pathetic idiot. But it's the power he has that's the problem. It's like sitting in the back seat of a car when the driver is really drunk. I'm not scared of drunkenness, I'm scared of the car crash.

If he was only performing for the people of Saudi Arabia very few people would be criticizing him. But the performance was paid for by the government responsible for murdering journalists and committing other atrocities. There would be the same criticism if he performed for Donald Trump’s family.
