“Edward Corsitine, the 19-year-old DOGE employee from New Canaan known as "big balls," has taken a senior advisor role with DHS…” That’s not something you read everyday.

#DOGE cut one-time grants to CT totaling $1.69 billion.
From highways to heat pumps: How DOGE affected Connecticut and cut more than $1 billion
Connecticut state agencies are estimated to have lost about $1.7 billion in one-time and annual grants from the federal government.

Companies like Walmart don't pay workers enough to buy food — and then turn around and makes millions from SNAP dollars spent in their stores.

My plan puts people first: lowering food costs and making sure a full-time job is enough to keep food on the table. #hunger #snap #poverty #greed

If you’re wondering why your government never makes your life easier, it’s pretty much this simple.
We spent a year investigating billionaires for @washingtonpost.com.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.

The President of the United States is publicly calling for the political prosecution of his political opponents, urging the death penalty because they urged soldiers to uphold the rule of law.

This should be front page news everywhere. It is not, which tells much about how we got to this point.
