Charles Cecil says that using AI to upscale artwork for Broken Sword: Reforged was a mistake. "The result was not enormously satisfactory," he says. Instead, Revolution ended up redrawing the backgrounds from scratch, using the original artwork as a reference.

DRUG WATCH (1985): This ZX Spectrum game designed by Nottinghamshire Constabulary was part of the 'Just Say No' campaign of the mid-80s. Pushers approach you in a surprisingly orderly fashion, chucking various drugs your way, and it's your job to just say no by, erm, firing the word 'NO' at them.
