My talking about dnd and my character sparked the imagination of an artist on here who asked me if they could draw her for me. So cool! Anyways @synodicwanderer.bsky.social just sent me the art of my character Verynn Doyle, a half elf rogue swashbuckler/fighter duelist battlemaster. It's awesome.
Glad I decided to check my email before leaving for work this morning. Moved to remote work because of the blizzard. I heard the wind and looked out the window to see a bus stuck in the intersection... Kinda made me think I should check and see. Lots of fun today though with exams cancelled...

Also - get your COVID and flu boosters! Both times I've gotten COVID, I hadn't gotten mine. (I also blame the province because it's never available when I need it. The vaccine roll out schedule is stupid. Why would you wait to release the vaccines till October? I'm already sick by then usually.)

Aww, I’ve got really strong antibiotics that require me to take them with food. The Aww is because I went to check the fridge and my husband got me snack packs of butterscotch pudding, juicy gels AND the jello cups with fruit in them for me. 🥰🥰

Apparently my chest X-ray from Monday cannot be found. Fun. However, got told either bronchitis or pneumonia at the walk in (since 3 days of trying to see my dr has gotten nowhere). She said she could hear crackling in my left side. More antibiotics for 10 days. Also prednisone and an inhaler. Yay.

Very annoyed. Now it's a sinus infection. I had surgery in 2023 for the chronic sinusitis and yet here I am. Getting sick a few weeks ago with whatever virus it was has led into a sinus infection. My dr says even if the covid/flu tests were neg, he thinks I just didn't have the viral load then. Ugh.

Feeling like a bit of a loser because I f’d up w my second course in my certificate and chose to withdraw from it today, which means withdrawing from next term’s course and the certificate itself too. Procrastinated most of term on the major assignment and then got sick so couldn’t finish on time.
