Your ICP is your narrowly-defined target customer.

But tons of other people will sign up anyway.

Good! But don’t get distracted by their requests or even their churn.

Why it happens like this:
Selling to Carol: Why targeting an ICP brings 10x more customers than you expected
Targeting your “Ideal Customer Profile” (ICP) is the best way to differentiate and win sales, but does it limit your target market?

We’ve stripped serendipity from the modern world.

We’ve constructed silos of mirrors.

Eject yourself.

Pause in the awkward pleasure of discomfort and reawaken to the unknown.
Locked and loaded for my first time participating in the plotter postcard exchange.

Haven’t had a chance to create anything new since last winter so these oldies will have to do 😅

Any travel bloggers out there?

I’m building something that’s going to make your life so much easier.

(Actually it’s applicable to _all_ types of content but location-based content works really well with pSEO)

I need to utilize that mute button more 😅
Yup. Everything is infected. Good reason to go outside I guess 😅
I built a free tool (no login) to help you generate long-tail keywords.

If you don’t have a strong backlink profile, you need to target long-tail keywords to build your domain’s reputation.

Then go after the head keywords.

It's all happening for us train enthusiasts (or is it just me?) as today marks 200 years since the Stockton and Darlington Railway opened in 1825 - the birth of the modern railway.
So here are some of the many railway linocuts I have done over the years - too many, I hear you say? Surely not… 😂

Does anyone have anything they want to share in the High Signal newsletter?

e.g. MRR updates, selling your website, buying websites or marketing tips
Not sure if this is what you’re after, but I could share how I landed on the idea for SEO.GG
I’m working in tech so I can live on a farm some day 🤣
A knew Reddit got a ton of traffic from Google but I didn’t realize how massive its internal search engine, Reddit Answers, had gotten.

Seems like prime real estate for indie hackers.

You are but one permutation, one iteration, churning through an infinite sea of possibilities.

Enjoy it.
I'm building a tool that helps you identify potential AI "search phrases" based on a user's query.

By targeting these phrases, you can increase the likelihood of showing up in AI search results.

You can give it a try without creating an account: keywordcanvas.ai
LLMs don't index the internet the way search engines do. Because of this, they rely on SERPs to do the heavy lifting of ranking content.

LLMs create a variety of "search phrases" based on what the user is researching. They then use these phrases to build context to answer the user's prompt.
There's still a lot of debate as to exactly how AI Search chooses which results to show.

But, these points are clear:

1. Good SEO = Good AIO (AI search optimization)
2. Higher page rank = More likely to be cite in AI search results
3. AI Search uses a technique called query fan-out (QFO)
People thought organic search traffic would plummet because of AI Search.

And overall search traffic is down.

BUT the quality of traffic (based on conversions and engagement) is actually better when it originates from AI Search.

So how do you get your content to appear in AI Search results?
