Hell yeah!
We are kicking things off here with an announcement: Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski will join the speaker’s lineup for the #zurichJSconf. This conference grew out of our meet-up and the community will be very much at heart of it all. We are very excited to take you with us on the ride!

I really like the saved feature, and who knows someday I might even go through all the cool stuff I saved. For now I'm hoarding.

Knowing how to edit code in Neovim feels sorta like knowing how to mix Vinyl as a DJ. I learned the latter back in my previous younger/cooler life, which was lots of fun, a bit of a flex, and not something that the usual audience would care about at all.

Omw to getting lunch with 3 colleagues and passed a tennis court, when a stray ball went in our direction, fast. Caught it one-hand, threw it back immediately to the loud applause from the 4 guys playing double. None of my colleagues noticed. Wth.

There is critical vulnerability in React Server Components disclosed as CVE-2025-55182 that impacts React 19 and frameworks that use it.

A fix has been published in React versions 19.0.1, 19.1.2, and 19.2.1. We recommend upgrading immediately.

Tested native type-stripping in Node yesterday, on a package I did. This requires you to specify `.ts` file endings on any TS files you’re running, which causes conflicts with your tsconfig file, that now needs the `allowImportingTsExtensions` flag, which is only allowed in comb. with `noEmit`.

Loving today's news that the mysterious "fedora man" outside the Louvre heist was actually a 15-year-old museum visitor who dresses like a 1940s French detective all the time, just because. apnews.com/article/louv...

I've become somewhat stubborn about not using twitter so haven't been there for a while. Had a quick look this morning and was greeted by 50% AI generated videos, 30% questionable commercials and 20% videos I didn't need to see. Of course you can just switch to the follow tab, but man it's wild..

TIL about the e18e.dev initiative, from the amazing @devtools.fm podcast and @43081j.com. Really cool stuff! Go check out the resources section e18e.dev/guide/resour... which is a treasure trove. I've been a happy 'Knip' user for quite some time, but lots of other things I didn't know about already.

Bluesky comments on personal blogs made the rounds a few months ago, and I finally found the time to do my own spin on it. Built with Astro & SolidJS for rendering and data fetching.

Thanks to @emilyliu.me (and by extension @samuel.bsky.team ) for the inspiration!

@danabra.mov When I try navigating to my profile, I always end up slapping my face at the top-left corner, only to realize it opens the account settings, and I need to use the profile button. Stupid idea to make a split button, where the avatar acts as a link to the profile, the dots for settings?
