My husband just woke me up at 1am to help him remove our giant wooden garbage bin from the middle of the road. It had been weighed down with two cinder blocks and still flew away. (So did one of the cinder blocks.)

I lost a friend this weekend. He taught me so much about navigating adversity and the importance of adventure, fun, and dancing through the hard parts of life.
Honestly, a lot of who I am today is because of the parts of his world he invited me into. I am so grateful and so sad.
