About this time last year we released a couple of double- scenario books in Tête-bêche (our first experiments with the format).
Creative opportunities aside, it's a neat alternative for a publisher that already has two great colour covers for individual scenarios and doesn't want to lose either.

Tonight, my brother ( @paintingmoreorcs.bsky.social ) and I got to meet our distant cousin ( @zondrio.bsky.social ) who is also an RPG designer! There’s a very funny small-world-type story here! So much fun! Game family VERY LITERALLY!

I have checked the outage estimate site so many times in the last 24 hours that for the first time in 11 years of dating, I have memorized Greg’s phone number (account is in his name)(“no estimated time of repair at this time”)
Our internet is still out and I have done nothing today except eat and read, and yeah I’m thankful for that

Allegedly “happy home paradise” is about building vacation homes for the animal crossing villagers, but in my experience it’s really about building them a small business that they live above

Also someone commented on my fic once saying it was cool that I knew enough about chess and horses and the battle of Agincourt to work it into the fic itself and that’s it, that’s the one circumstance in which I could conceivably be considered cool for that

I’m not entirely sure why the animal crossing Thanksgiving event involves all your little villagers putting on straw boater hats, but I think that’s something we should adopt as a tradition in real life

I can’t watch the new Quinns Quest yet (our internet is out from the weather and I don’t want to use all my data streaming video) but I remember in 2019 someone told me that “RPGs that look like board games” was the next big thing and I remember being annoyed even then because I knew he was right

I've gotten much better about buying even more clothes I don't need (I have SO MUCH clothing, because I hate doing laundry), but the first really nasty winter winds of the year is a good time to buy like........ a big stack of new warm pajamas, right?

Heads up that my sister is a thousand times better at the whole “Writing RPG Materials” thing than I will ever have the patience and drive to be.
If you're into them, you should grab my in-development games as community copies, because that means itch will let me email you dev logs when there's updates to them! Even if you don't think you'll get around to reading it for a while (or ever! I know how it is!), it tells me people are interested!

I feel bad when, as a QA tester, I think that my devs are being straight-up clowns, but honest to god, I am in clowntown. this IS my circus, those ARE my monkeys, and I do NOT wanna see it. these are "turn my camera off because I am no longer capable of putting on a polite expression" meetings lmao
