I work in a cinema and made sure to turn up the volume a little extra so that the record groove noise during the 8 mm scenes could be clearly heard. Loved it.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.

It was 10 years ago I went to LA and the Santa Monica line wasn’t really finished. Had to change to bus at some point. Would love to go back and see all the new things. Unfortunately I will have to wait and see how it goes with the world. LA has some great places if you know where to look.
