The game nearly made me throw my controller at the wall a few times with its controls and camera, but in spite of that, I still have a soft spot for it. Legacy of Darkness at least played a little smoother. Really, really good atmosphere and sound design.

I can confidently say that the most fun I ever have working on a video game review is when it's for a new Pokemon release. It motivates me to dive headfirst into the mechanics and really immerse myself in the training and battling systems.

I really did get a chuckle out of how hyped a lot of people were when that rumor first floated around, because I think back to the Wii/Wii U era when the most vocal fans online constantly berated those games for being unoriginal and unambitious.

I have my copy for the DS one and that's all I need.

Vince Russo clarifying that he’s never worked with NWA means that NWA did a cocaine angle live on ppv purely for the love of the game and not because of Russo’s whacky booking. Amazing.

Kayfabe is great because in storyline, Takeshita waited more than three full days to so much as give Okada a dirty look after taking a Rainmaker, despite them being in the same building on two different occasions since 😂

Very raw feeling to start this Hangman/Joe match. It’s dirty, it’s gritty. It hasn’t been smooth so far like you expect out of a wrestling match, but I think it’s intentional.

Ya’ll remember those UFC ppvs that on paper everyone thought “This card is meh”? Usually had a foregone conclusion of a title match in the main event, and the rest of the card were guys ranked outside the top 10.

Then showtime comes and it’s one barnburner after another.
