Donald Trump just ended a rule that required airlines to compensate you for delayed or canceled flights.

Why?

Maybe because the airlines donated big bucks to Trump. Or maybe because the Secretary of Transportation used to be an airline lobbyist.

Either way, you lose.

The growing Coalition of Corruption.
The FIFA Peace Prize ceremony at the World Cup Draw, with its blatant political pandering, was one of the more embarrassing episodes even in the history of an organization famously rife with fraud and corruption, @louisathomas.bsky.social writes.
The Weird Spectacle of the World Cup Draw
At the event, the matchups seemed beside the point, eclipsed by FIFA’s bizarre Peace Prize ceremony for Donald Trump and other cringey moments.

Democratic senators should ignore GOP attacks over not confirming Trump's nominees, and instead go on the offensive: Attack Republican senators for not voting to release the Epstein files. And urge voters to go to Republican senators' town halls or find them elsewhere to challenge them on this.

The discourse needs to get smarter. We don’t need national profile
Democrats “campaigning” as much as we need them digging in and building pro-democracy infrastructure.

More grassroots, more media, more solution-making, more fundraising.

And not just (or even mostly) in election season.
Kamala Harris has misgivings about government. Some Dems have misgivings about her.
There’s a swath of the party that would be glad if Harris doesn’t run in 2028 — or campaign actively in the midterms.

What would a progressive narrative look like? First, it would not be motivated by fear and hatred of women. Second, it would consider masculinity healthy and valuable rather than being ashamed of it.
OK so feeling slightly apprehensive about this, which I suppose is kind of the point. This is an attempt at a progressive view on masculinity and on men getting laid. God help me. iandunt.substack.com/p/how-to-be-...

The right story narrative about male attractiveness is grounded in Social Darwinism and free market economics. Can progressives tell a better story?

Trump Administration continues to give Epstein & Maxwell special treatment to help coverup.
“The reason for the move is listed as a “lesser security transfer” (code 308), which is completely inappropriate for inmates who are in the early stages of serving their sentences. ‘This is such obvious corruption. I have never seen this before.’”
