Going to try and cycle between slots on different sites

they probably could have saved more money if it was a digital only game (which game key cards effectively are but with a lock) but like eugh

they know people want physical cartridges and somehow botching that up in the most corporate way possible

I still think it’s a hilarious accomplishment that the figure patterned near perfectly after the cartoon Megatron design that turns into a gun

Of course any TF fan will give an essay on *why* they had to do this but still shows how some design details are very superficial

Idk in terms of a robot design and alt mode design having synergy has been all over the place recently, especially with Hasbro now making figures so slavish to the 80s cartoon designs which were only derivatives of the toys

When the figure’s articulation and/or accuracy to the source material comes into conflict with the engineering and/or gimmicks

Or all of those factors just being equally negatively impacted because Hasbro gives their TF designers a budget of 7 dollars

I think it was mostly Animated that turned it into some sort of recurring story obstacle (that in-universe eventually became something the characters progressed through)
