So the strategy seems to be deport people to a country where the dictator claims it's preposterous to return ANYONE back to the US essentially neuters SCOTUS because due process isn't necessary and they can toss anyone in the dead of night and "outta sight outta reach." Solid. Happy to be here.

My suggestion for an office tortoise continues to be rejected. How hard is it to grasp? I am surrounded by small minded people. This is why this country is the way that it is.

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and there’s a lot more we need to do to support survivors. Things like helping victims access proper care, ending the stigma and ensuring survivors have opportunities to seek justice.

WAY late to the party I am finally reading Old Man's War by @scalzi.com only 100 pgs in and the dialogue has brought me the most joy I've had in awhile. Locked in after the opening three sentences. I would read an entire 10 book series of just The Old Farts eating meals together. Sheer Brilliance.

It's more than just the erosion of purchasing power. It's everything that comes with economic stresses. Increases in domestic violence, child abuse, sexual abuse, divorce, and other social ills. Yes people are responsible for their actions, but the circumstances surrounding could have been avoided.

Wonder if/when other countries begin to treat US citizens the same way we have been treating their citizens. Confiscating documents, snatching them off streets, tossing them in detention centers & then shipping them back to the US with an invoice for costs. Cue the persecuted narrative
