From AP News: "White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said details would be forthcoming and that Trump “wants to alleviate suffering for the people of Gaza because he has a humanitarian heart.”

The election of the first American Pontiff at the time of Trump for me invokes thoughts of Carly Simon....."You're so vain, You probably think this election is about you."

Waiting for the unleashing by the sycophants as to how he was so influential is getting this "deal" done from the newly elected

Alright I give up. Would gladly welcome a several year medically induced coma. The nonsense is too much. From the insulting and appalling AI images, to the constant spewing of lies and insanity, to the crowdfunding of racism that exceeds most families income in a decade we are living in a satire.

So the strategy seems to be deport people to a country where the dictator claims it's preposterous to return ANYONE back to the US essentially neuters SCOTUS because due process isn't necessary and they can toss anyone in the dead of night and "outta sight outta reach." Solid. Happy to be here.

My suggestion for an office tortoise continues to be rejected. How hard is it to grasp? I am surrounded by small minded people. This is why this country is the way that it is.

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and there’s a lot more we need to do to support survivors. Things like helping victims access proper care, ending the stigma and ensuring survivors have opportunities to seek justice.

The cruelty will increase and I don't think they'll stop at "gangs." Safety is now an illusion.

Sounds like a great time for those able to engage in some good trouble and line those streets with the loudest and most obnoxious protesters this country can produce. Artists and creatives start the work now on the nest signs ever produced.

He called for one in his first term, but the price tag was said to be too high at $92 million.

WAY late to the party I am finally reading Old Man's War by @scalzi.com only 100 pgs in and the dialogue has brought me the most joy I've had in awhile. Locked in after the opening three sentences. I would read an entire 10 book series of just The Old Farts eating meals together. Sheer Brilliance.

Yep, when things explode they do indeed go boom.

The comments by Vance about Abrego-Garcia being "a real winner" because of traffic violations makes my head want to explode. Selective memory causes him to forget he's a pet to his 34x felony master. I hope the Catholic Church steps in and does to him what they did to Biden. Acknowledge the cruelty

It's more than just the erosion of purchasing power. It's everything that comes with economic stresses. Increases in domestic violence, child abuse, sexual abuse, divorce, and other social ills. Yes people are responsible for their actions, but the circumstances surrounding could have been avoided.

It started w/ a withholding of funds. Bow the knee, quiet the dissent. Next, I fear, is the escalation to military suppression. The deployment of the Nat'l Guard to disperse crowds & maintain "order." Then come the bullets and accusations of "domestic terrorism"

Wonder if/when other countries begin to treat US citizens the same way we have been treating their citizens. Confiscating documents, snatching them off streets, tossing them in detention centers & then shipping them back to the US with an invoice for costs. Cue the persecuted narrative
