Asked about the donor’s identity and any foreign or domestic entanglements, the WH referred questions to DoD. DoD then referred questions back to the WH

A fun byproduct of unitary executive theory—if the president controls everyone under him, he can demand they transfer hundreds of millions in tax dollars into his bank account
Breaking News: President Trump wants $230 million from the Justice Department for investigating him, people familiar with the matter say. Any settlement might ultimately be approved by senior department officials who defended him or those in his orbit. nyti.ms/4hmIi5X

the president has destroyed the east wing of the white house without so much as a word of input from anyone else to build a royal ballroom paid for with bribes
NEW: After The Washington Post reported Monday on the demolition of the "East Wing facade," a new picture obtained by Law Dork that was taken on Tuesday shows that a substantial portion of the entirety of the East Wing has been demolished.
Interesting. Sounds like it would make for a good movie or documentary. Surprised no one has taken that on.
Any chance you have a copy of the SEC lawsuit?

Just constantly saying it out loud - retweeting it even! - and people still want to ignore that the whole thing is a white nationalist movement?
Illinois lost to Ohio State (1st) and Indiana (3rd) and already has the win that would clearly be Notre Dame's best win of the season (USC at home).

I understand the broader context, but it continues to just cave my brain in that they're declaring it thoughtcrime to criticize a dead podcaster. Like, he wasn't even a government official or religious leader or something actually important, he was just some prick with a webcam
BREAKING: Marco Rubio's State Department announces publicly that it is exercising unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination in revoking people's visas based on comments about the killing of Charlie Kirk.

First day ever in Portland.

And I know I’m in Portland because I’ve seen an autographed Dame Lillard cutting board and I’ve purchased @iankarmel.bsky.social’s book from @powells.bsky.social
I journey to this terrifying place later today. If I am mauled by an inflatable unicorn, tell my family I love them.

It's amazing to think about how we got here: The delusional mad king was watching Fox News b-roll, thought it was a current event, and decided to invade Portland--and now the entire MAGA movement is trying to turn Trump's delusions into reality.
Trump's tweet that Portland is "war ravaged" just backfired. A Trump-picked judge cited it in blocking National Guard deployment to Portland, declaring him "untethered from facts."

On the pod, Oregon AG Dan Rayfield illuminatingly explains the ruling and what's next:

I genuinely don't understand how Democrats can negotiate to fund the government under these conditions and it is why they should have made addressing recision and unconstitutional withholding of funds the key issue of the shutdown even if not as sexy or popular as subsidies.

The commissioner's response, per Collier:
