This is the most insane thing...they are disappearing children!

The party that pretends to care about babies & children is letting the government take babies away from their parents.

There’s a growing, sickening feeling in this country that the rules don’t exist anymore not because they disappeared, but because one faction decided they simply didn’t have to follow them.

Watching federal agents pepper‑spray a freshly sworn‑in member of Congress should be shocking. But in 2025 America, it’s tragically unsurprising. Rep. Adelita Grijalva, who waited seven weeks for Mike Johnson to administer her oath, was reportedly attacked by ICE officers

When agents of the state feel emboldened to spray a congresswoman in a public restaurant, democracy itself is under threat.

Congress must act not with polite statements, but with investigations, accountability, and real oversight.

If this behavior goes unchecked, it won’t just be Adelita Grijalva who suffers; it will be every American who dares to question those with badges and guns. ICE is supposed to enforce the law, not intimidate lawmakers. The fact that anyone still pretends this is acceptable is a disgrace.

European reaction to the new American national strategy document
The headline, the main takeaway from a European viewpoint is this:

The transatlantic relationship as we know it is over. Yes, we kinda knew this. But this is now official US White House policy. Not a sppech, not a statement. The West as it used to be no longer exists.

Actionable policy which includes and prescribes direct interference into EU democratic processes by supporting far right and Eurosceptic parties.

If this is not the final wake up call Europe, I don't know what is.
