I love him. “The first time I caught up to [ICE], I could tell that they already knew who I was. They had seen me before, so they thought they were just going to speed away. I was like, ‘Ha ha, bitches, I got a new scooter!’”

Memory Eternal, Viola Ford Fletcher...
As a survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre, Viola Ford Fletcher bravely shared her story so that we’d never forget this painful part of our history. Michelle and I are grateful for her lifelong work to advance civil rights, and send our love to her family.

Oh, Canada!

So far ahead of the United States it's not even funny...
Something very cool just happened to #Montreal.

Last week I got to ride on the REM line, now fully open from Brossard to Deux-Montagnes.

Automated. Electric. Frequent (2.5 minute headways). Fast (100 km/h plus). Cheap to build. (One tenth the price of other systems)

And really fun to ride...

Looks like Trump's so-called "Peace Plan" is, in fact, Putin's plan--a reward for invading Ukraine and murdering thousands.

A total betrayal.

Good grief!

The so-called "ceasefire" is not a "ceasefire" but a license for Israel to continue slaughtering Palestinians with impunity.
Airstrikes don’t “test” a ceasefire. They break a ceasefire. Language isn’t that hard, media. Neither is professionalism and bravery.
BREAKING: At least 24 people are dead and 54 wounded after Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, testing the ceasefire that began in October, officials say.

Since 2009, (because of inflated assessments, which violate Michigan laws). the City of Detroit has completed property tax foreclosures for 1 in 3 homes, displacing 100,000+ families--the highest number in any American city since the Great Depression.
Forget Trump’s myths: The real land theft is in Detroit, not South Africa - The Boston Globe
The story the nation should focus on is one far closer to home: Black homeowners in Detroit whose homes have been stolen through inflated property tax bills and foreclosures.
