I’m praying for peace, but after all the other times they’ve tried, I’m jaded. Gaza needs to be completely rebuilt. It’s uninhabitable. I feel for those poor people.

I remember the Camp David accords with the photos of Begin and Sadat with Jimmy Carter. The peace didn’t hold then, and I’m afraid it won’t hold again. It’s about the leadership. Netanyahu is still a thug and wants to just take care of himself.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

The empathy just pours out of him, doesn’t it. His constant need for praise over things he did and didn’t do is disgusting. (he should get credit if he did something, but if past is prologue, he didn’t.) He’s looking forward to all the hotels he will build in Gaza…
