RIP Lenny Wilkens - he coached the Sonics to their lone NBA championship (OKC doesn't count) and did great jobs with the Cavaliers, Hawks, and Raptors. Great person.

This bill doesn’t address the core issue that millions of Americans will no longer be able to afford ACA insurance coverage next year. I’m willing to work with anyone to create a path forward but this isn’t it.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

I've looked at all the details of this deal to end the shutdown reached by a small group of Senate Democrats. I've talked to a number of friends on the Hill to see if there's anything I'm missing. Sadly, I am not.
