Before Monday’s shocking price rise, 6 direct line ancestor wills ordered. 4 came back instantly, having already been digitised, so akin to the automated digitised wills service for #WW1 soldiers. Begs the question why pricing isn’t graded akin to GRO Digital Images & PDFs #Probate #FamilyHistory

12 probate documents ordered for a client this morning, cost £18. On Monday that same order will cost an eye-watering £192.
Tomorrow hoping to revisit my direct line ancestors, & a final check of my one-place study #WW1 wills, to make sure I’ve got everything

We don’t usually have a webinar in November as that’s the month of our AGM and annual conference. This November however we have our AGM and conference *plus* a webinar! @janeroberts.bsky.social Jane Roberts will be giving a presentation on her #OnePlaceStudy of Batley St Mary’s on November 11th.

Had a few days off staying in a cottage right by the beach at #Porthdinllaen on the Llŷn Peninsula in Wales. Total chill out time with not one jot of genealogy research done. Instead it was family time, plus connecting with nature with beach walks, #sunrises, #sunsets and #rainbows. Bliss.
