This was great fun. Mind-bending questions and discussion...

Such a pleasure to workshop the #Sentientism worldview with the new class of trainee #ReligiousEducation teachers at @ucl.ac.uk last week. Glad these young teachers will be helping thousands of kids to understand the worldviews of others and to shape their own 🤩

Animal agriculture is fascistic.

Once our epistemology is broken in one area, there’s a risk it infects other areas.

If we can believe the Earth 🌎 is flat, we can probably believe almost anything.

We might start somewhere fairly harmless, and end up somewhere truly dark.

So frustrating to hear intelligent people discuss "If AIs become sentient then we'll have to recognise their rights just like we do with animals!"

As if we actually recognise the rights of sentient animals.

I hope, one day soon. But it's not today 😥

Mindscape Ask Me Anything | October 2025. Hopefully this one answers once and for all why the universe isn't a black hole if it was so densely packed at early times. #MindscapePodcast

I think this from @donmoyn.bsky.social is essential reading for the moment. I’d emphasize that the staggering process he describes doesn’t end with the assault on immigrants. It’s about creating an armed force loyal to nobody but Trump. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/purge-merg...

Trump is creating a omniforce of armed loyalists to establish his police state

Oh they don’t want that sort of transparency.

They only want the sort of “transparency” that means coconut milk can’t be called milk and a veggie burger can’t be called a burger.

So many politicians have been bought by the big animal ag industry.

Culturally bought, if not with cash 💰

BREAKING NEWS 🚨 @europarl.europa.eu insists that meat must now be called “flesh with faeces” and cows’ milk must now be called “mammalian gland secretions with pus.”

Finally, some clarity for consumers about what they’re feeding their children 🥰 😋

New poll shows: Potential Conservative voters are now more than twice as likely to consider Brexit a failure rather than a success.

@pimlicat.bsky.social: “The British public, including the Conservatives’ voters - recognise that Brexit has been a calamity for our economy.”

Why doesn’t the word #senticide exist?

Maybe it should?

Agreed, I found a few who got extremely defensive when I pointed out that their actions don’t align with Jane‘s quotes that they were posting.

Exactly. The mass media love Jane, except for her veganism, which they never mention.

A wonderful way to honour Jane Goodall’s life is to care about all sentient animals, like she did, rather than just some of them.

I hope all those American generals used that big meeting to set up a Signal group chat just in case they need to do a coup to save their country 🇺🇸 from fascism.

One beautiful gift you can give to yourself and the world is to allow yourself to think clearly and honestly about animal agriculture and exploitation.

And nearly all (~90%) of the nutritional value of that 70-80% is destroyed because of feed conversion ratios.

Animal agriculture destroys way more food than it creates. And the land use 🤯
