It's genuinely crackers that in the UK, a social media company can *take advertising money from a fraudster*, the bank has to repay the victim out of its pocket, and the social media company doesn't even have to give the advertising cash to the bank! They make money on the transaction!

I totally agree, but i dont think they're picking the Lions squad on who has had the best season, more on who they would put into the Ashes in an emergency. You wouldn't pick Haines over Hameed on form. But they rate Haines over Hameed to actually play in Australia (his Lions record is pretty good).

I was surprised about Saif as well, but then if you think of this as the Ashes reserves squad a top order batter who bowls left arm, they probably dont need back up if Bethell is already thr backup. Its why I think Coles isn't there. Someone like Haines, not a top season but a direct replacement...

Ming Campbell was a dedicated public servant and a true Liberal giant.

His principled leadership opposing the Iraq War was a mark of his morality, courage and wisdom.

But more than that, he was an incredibly warm and caring friend and colleague.

We will miss him terribly.
