Feels a little weird to hear @caseynewton.bsky.social on #Decoder instead of #HardFork but it's a great episode!

@sqlgene.com not sure if you are aware but the latest version of the podcast has some crazy audio going on with your mic.

Help make paginated reports 1st class again. Here's one idea where #MSFabric could score a quick win in the new web view. Please vote!

Paginated Report templates
One place where paginated reports still have a robust use case are for formatted reports such as invoices or letters. It would be nice if the web designer for paginated reports had a simple interface ...

Hey @itsnotaboutthecell.com , let me ask one of the most important questions, is #PowerPinny making the trip to Vegas?

Hey @brento.bsky.social, will we see you around FabCon since it is in Vegas?

#MicrosoftFabric folks, I noticed that @guyinacube.bsky.social created a custom feed. One of the great parts of Bluesky is custom feeds that sit at the top of your app curated by subject. bsky.app/profile/did:...

@sqlgene.com I hope one of your future podcasts addresses the topic of when to adopt new features. I see so many people thinking they need to implement direct lake or SQL DBs for no other reason but that it's new. The quick delivery of features is nice but leaves users so confused when to use them

#MSFabric folks, I highly recommend adding @sqlgene.com 's new Fabric podcast to your listening rotation.

Eugene is a great guy and I have always appreciated his authenticity and his knack at talking at a level where everyone can understand.

I wish Fabric content creators would do less click-batey videos and more helpful visuals. I know the YT algorithm rewards you for clickbait but it drives me nuts. Also in a nod to @sqlgene.com 's recent blog, explain the options, don't just say one is bad or good and blow through it.

Why does every battery operated device run on a different battery type? I swear electronics makers just love to drive us nuts

@itsnotaboutthecell.com I see that you also prefer tabs across the top rather than the left. Is there any hope for this? Also, as I jump around it accumulates tabs and then Fabric yells at me. Hopefully some improvements in this area in 2025?

I'm loving the custom labels on @bsky.app ! I like that it takes away the sticky decisions from a single entity and individual people can choose the labeler(s) of their choice. Thanks @sqlgene.com for introducing them to me!

One thing that I have noticed on Bluesky is a bunch of bots and spam accounts. Hopefully they can come up with a solution to root these out.

The incoming administration has just reaffirmed 25% tariffs for goods coming from Mexico.

In 2019, the president declared a tariff on imports from Mexico. Just the threat screwed things up, so we went ahead and did our own. This article is from 2019.

Hello everyone!

My name is James, nice to meet you all. I work in the data/analytics field and I spend a lot of time using Microsoft Fabric/Power BI. Outside of work you'll most likely find me outdoors in my home state of Colorado or traveling the globe.
