I usually place her in the timeline in such a way that she's 18. Truly a time in a girl's life.

I know she takes care of her little sister and an even younger (toddler age) sibling the most. I'd like to explore the details of all the kids and her relationship to them all more.

Not to mention, Adele is a bisexual woman. As far as I'm aware, she is completely uninterested in religion. I think she quickly turned a cynical on it from being witness to the dysfunctions in her family.

As for how much she cares about her parents' approval, it's a touchy subject.

In that vein, it's funny to think of their mum's potential assumption that Jan is a "good Christian boy" and the tensions that could stem from that, not to mention, the confusing feelings and statements it would elicit in that one little sister who ships Jadele so bad.

I don't have a strong vision for their dad *yet*. However, I'm thinking about cementing both parents as very religious. People who had many children due to their religious beliefs, but it eventually reached a point when the *dad* got tired of having kids and went back on his decision...

Right now, I'm mostly decided on her little sister referring to their mum as "my mother" or "our mother", as ridiculously serious as it sounds coming from a little girl's mouth. By contrast, she calls Adele "mum" or "mummy" in an overly childish manner.

I thought of an extremely sweet (unfortunately can't be canon) scene between her and Jan, but I don't feel like I could do it justice by writing it. Maybe I need to sleep on it a little bit more.

Otherwise, I've been thinking about the politics of her large family.

Adele is peak adultified older sister. She has multiple little siblings, including most notably a little girl and a toddler that she takes care of the most. Said little girl refers to *her* as "mommy" instead of their actual mother.
