Times of adversity call for leaders and Cristian Romero stepped up to be just that last night for Tottenham at Newcastle. Sent a message to the fans after, too, that, with the result, hopefully begins to ease some of the tensions.

Lots to like about that for me. Let’s be real we aren’t Real Madrid we’ve got a long way to go. Small steps. Awful refereeing and awful club and I am so happy for the lads they fought hard tonight. MASSIVE point. 💪🏼

If that was Liverpool, you can guarantee they'd be asking PGMOL for clarification, and to be honest I think that we should. It's such a highly dubious decision. I thought the bar was meant to be high for a VAR overturn, that bar must have been in the basement. #COYS

Here’s my first half review.
Happy we’re 0-0. Very passive in parts but overall felt more comfortable despite Newcastle having more of the ball. Kept them at bay. Nice signs of some forward play.
Struggling to hold it and keep it and find an outlet again.

Happy away at Newcastle day 😬 here’s hoping for some solidarity and good effort/performance. I’ve been reflecting and this divide between fans and players isn’t good IMO. The players need to feel a bit of love and they also need to show us something back. It only gets better together.

What’s got me thinking over the last few days is do we have any Brentford friends who can offer some insight into Frank and his performance, demeanour of late etc? I just wondered if there was a view … probably to stem the tide of this is only ending one way?
